New York City Engagement Photos at South Seaport Street

South Seaport Street in New York City is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike. This bustling neighborhood is home to some of the city’s most iconic landmarks and offers plenty of opportunities for beautiful photography. In February 2023, I had the pleasure of photographing a lovely and fun couple called Adrianna and Ryan in this picturesque location. In this blog post, I’ll share some highlights of their New York City engagement photos and how we captured their love and joy in the heart of South Seaport Street.

Beginning With Some Brooklyn Bridge Engagement Photos

Adrianna and Ryan were a joy to work with from the beginning. They were clearly excited to be in South Seaport Street and to capture their love and fun on camera. We started the session near the iconic Brooklyn Bridge, taking advantage of the beautiful architecture and stunning views of the city skyline. and then we moved inside to one of Pier 17’s beautiful and romantic bar to get some fun direct flash shots. Adrianna and Ryan were all smiles, and it was easy to see how much they loved each other.

Cobblestone Streets and Candid Shots

Next, we moved to the cobblestone streets of the neighborhood, which made a perfect backdrop for some playful and candid New York City engagement photos. As we walked along the street, we stopped and snapped pictures whenever we saw something interesting – whether it was a bookstore with a cool front or a unique building. Adrianna and Ryan’s fun-loving nature shone through in every photo, and their love for each other was evident in every pose.

New York City Engagement Photo Champagne Pop Finish

Toward the end of the session, Adrianna and Ryan brought out a bottle of champagne to pop in celebration of their engagement. As the champagne cork popped, Adrianna and Ryan couldn’t stop smiling, and I managed to capture the most beautiful candid moment.
