I’m so excited to share Isabel and Andrew’s gorgeous 501 Union wedding day in Brooklyn with you! It was such a fun day, filled with love, laughter, and beautiful New York backdrops!
Isabel and Andrew’s wedding day took us all over the city, from getting ready at Boro Hotel, to their ceremony at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Queens, to taking wedding photos in DUMBO and finally ending up at 501 Union for their wedding reception.
The couple loves old, classical buildings, and tall brick arches, so that was one of the main focuses of the wedding photos we took on the day.
So let’s get into the details of their beautiful wedding day!
Getting Ready at Boro Hotel
Isabel and Andrew began their day at the chic Boro Hotel in Long Island City.
I got to capture the beautiful moments of Isabel getting ready, surrounded by her bridal party, as well as some fun photos of Andrew and his groomsmen.
The floor-to-ceiling windows provided gorgeous natural light for their photos, as well as a stunning view of the New York City skyline.
Ceremony at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Queens
After getting ready, the day took us to Queens for the couple’s ceremony before heading off to celebrations at the 501 Union Wedding Venue.
They exchanged vows at the historic Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. The church’s stunning architecture, complete with intricate stained glass windows and tall, decorated arches, provided a beautiful backdrop for their heartfelt ceremony.
Isabel and Andrew’s church exit was very sweet, surrounded by their loved ones waving white ribbons.
Wedding Party Photos in DUMBO, Brooklyn
For the wedding party photos, Isabel and Andrew chose the picturesque DUMBO neighborhood in Brooklyn.
Known for its cobblestone streets, old warehouse buildings, and the iconic Manhatten Bridge, DUMBO was the perfect location for the couple who wanted to have all that beautiful architecture as their wedding photo backdrop.
Reception at 501 Union Wedding Venue in Brooklyn
Finally, their wedding celebrations continued at the elegant 501 Union wedding venue in Brooklyn.
501 Union is a beautiful event space that blends history with modern style. The venue is spacious with stunning skylight ceilings, providing natural light during the day and a view of the stars during the night.
The couple shared their first dance under the skylight and celebrated their love together with their family and friends.
In order to take some fun photos with all their guests, they did a cool photo and song dash! That really was so much fun to capture!
