Sho and William had a really fun, intimate, and elegant New York City wedding. From their getting ready at the Thompson Hotel to their heartfelt Central Park wedding ceremony at the Cop Cot and the dinner with friends and family at Il Gattopardo, every moment was beautiful!
Getting Ready at the Thompson Central Park New York by Hyatt
The day began at Thompson Central Park, New York, where Sho and William prepared for their special day. The hotel, located at 119 W 56th St, provided a luxurious and intimate location for the couple to get ready. Sho looked stunning in her elegant ankle-length dress, while William was looking dashing in his tailored suit.
Romantic Central Park Wedding Ceremony at Cop Cot
The couple exchanged their vows surrounded by their closest loved ones at Cop Cot, one of the top spots for a Central Park wedding ceremony. The wooden structure surrounded by greenery created a beautiful, whimsical backdrop. If you want to get married in Central Park, it means there will be some passersby, but it can be part of the charm of NYC!
If you want to have your wedding ceremony at Cop Cot, you do not need a permit if you have fewer than 20 guests. However, I recommend getting a permit anyway, so the spot will be reserved for you.
Sho & William’s Central Park Wedding Portraits
After the ceremony, we took a quick stroll through Central Park and the streets of NYC for their wedding portraits. The greenery and those classy NYC buildings were a beautiful backdrop! It was also a great opportunity for them to enjoy a quiet moment together before joining their family and friends for the celebration.
Reception Dinner at Il Gattopardo
The celebration continued with dinner at Il Gattopardo, an upscale Italian restaurant located at 13-15 W 54th St. The setting, with simple, elegant table decor, matched the understated elegance of the day. And they all knew how to have a good time! Their dinner party was so much fun, with great food and dancing!
