It was a beautiful summer day when Kate and Nil celebrated their love at the Brooklyn Grange in Sunset Park. Their love story, rooted in sustainability and a shared passion for great food, found the perfect backdrop at this unique rooftop farm in Brooklyn.

The Love Story That Led to This Brooklyn Grange Wedding Day
Kate and Nil are massive foodies and are incredibly passionate about sustainability, which was the start of their friendship. They were friends for seven years before they started dating two and a half years ago, and everything just clicked right into place.
The couple found Brooklyn Grange, a mission-driven urban rooftop farm, and instantly fell in love with not only the unique and lovely scenery but also their mission. They planned their wedding for late June, as that is when the wildflowers and summer vegetables are starting to bloom.
And all those beautiful blossoms helped them achieve the whimsical, intimate vibe they were going for! It was seriously so beautiful!!
Getting Ready at the Ace Hotel Brooklyn
The day started at the Ace Hotel in Brooklyn, a gorgeous spot that’s a photographer’s dream for all the getting-ready photos! Its chic interiors and natural light offered a great setting as Kate and Nil prepared for their special day. The hotel’s aesthetic effortlessly complemented the natural and relaxed vibe they envisioned for their wedding.

Brooklyn Grange is more than just a wedding venue; it’s a fully functional farm on a rooftop! The staff, ever accommodating and pleasant, ensured everything ran smoothly, allowing the couple’s vision of a relaxed, intimate party to come to life. I personally loved the greenery, as well, because it adds such a great organic touch that’s hard to find in NYC.
Kate and Nil had their wedding ceremony and reception at the spacious indoor hall, which was decorated with responsibly sourced flowers. I loved how they ensured their whimsical wedding day aligned with their values!
After the ceremony, the guests were treated to a delightful cocktail hour on the rooftop garden, where the city skyline met nature’s beauty. During the cocktail hour, we also captured Kate and Nil’s wedding photos amidst the wildflowers, really embodying the relaxed and whimsical vibe they had envisioned.
